About Pet Pals
Pet Pals was in
business for the 1st time on Valentines
Day of 2003. I had just moved from
Philadelphia to Roanoke, Virginia. I had used a pet sitter before when I
lived in Philly because I never enjoyed my vacation knowing I had left my
babies at a strange place with strange people. I was quite impressed with
my sitter and her service and became very interested in going into
business for myself, being that I was a proud pet owner of a spoiled
rotten dog and felt I would be quite good at it.
After moving to Roanoke in October 2003, Pet Pals was born. I never
imagined it would be this busy so fast. It took
no time to realized that there are pet owners out there just like me! Pet
Pals has over 100 clients today and keeps growing. It's wonderful and
there's not a day that I don't wake up and Thank God for having a job I
love! I'm blessed that I'm able to put my love for pets to good use!
 I'm
proud to say that I am a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI),
which is the most respected national pet sitting association, requiring
dedication to the excellence and professionalism of pet sitting. I am also
recommended constantly by our local veterinarians.
