Friendly Pet Pals
Meet Melissa...
Melissa stared working for Pet Pals in October of 2006. She is a full time
administrative assistant which has provided a great career for her, but
she doesn’t deny her true passion and dream of working with animals. As a
child, Melissa had several family cats and a Jack Russell Terrier. When
she turned 11 she started riding horses which instantly sparked her
interest in owning her own. Soon after, she owned her first horse which is
an American Saddle bred named Brigadier’s Winter Rose who they call Winter
for short. She started showing Winter in horse shows and although she’s
too old to show now, Melissa loves caring for her in her retirement years.
Melissa currently resides in Roanoke with her Bernese Mountain Dog,
Berkley. She truly loves working for Pet Pals and is a fabulous pet
sitter! She loves the idea of keeping pets in their own home and always
goes the extra mile to be sure that the animals under her care are happy
and healthy. |

Meet Michelle...
Greetings! My name is Michelle and in the picture is my best friend of 15 years who is no longer with me. I live in Roanoke with my partner and new companion, Belle. Belle is a basset/lab mix, very sweet gentle dog.
I have two adult children and two grandchildren who live in Vermont. I work full time as a school-based therapist. I have a part time business as Life Coach, Yoga & Reiki practitioner. I have always loved animals and believe they deserve the best in life. I am very excited to be able to work with Pet Pals. |
