WHO WILL BE COMING TO CARE FOR MY PETS?Pet Pals works as a team. We assign a primary pet sitter to each client, but secondary caregivers come in as a backup when the primary sitter is unavailable. Each client always has the option for a personal meet-and-greet with the individual that will be caring for their pets prior to services. Additional meet-and-greets may incur an additional charge.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR MORE THAN ONE PET?FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.We never charge extra for additional pets! We only charge for the time necessary to properly care for your pals. Our team will let you know if we think your pets require extra time.

HOW DO I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN THERE?Real-time updates? Yes, please! At Pet Pals, we use an industry-leading pet sitting software called Time To Pet. Once your initial consultation, you’ll gain access to your personalized client portal. Our pet sitters and dog walkers submit visit reports immediately after each session. You’ll receive instant updates directly to your email and app (push notifications optional). Stay informed with detailed insights into what your pets are up to, including adorable photos captured during their time with us!

WHAT ARE YOUR HOLIDAY RATES?A deposit of 50% is due upon booking a reservation over a holiday. This deposit is refundable unless cancelled less than 10 days prior to the first day of services. We observe the following holidays. A visit on one of these days will require a holiday fee per visit. New Year’s Eve – $15 New Year’s Day – $15 Easter – $15 Memorial Day weekend (Saturday and Sunday) – $10 Memorial Day – $15 4th of July week (July 1-5) – $10 4th of July – $15 Labor Day – $15 Thanksgiving Day – $15 Black Friday – $10 December 21-23 $10 Christmas Eve – $15 Christmas Day – $15 December 26th – $10

DO YOU HAVE A REWARDS OR REFERRAL PROGRAM?We sure do! We offer a 10% discount for any client on a recurring schedule of three or more dog walks/mid-day visits per week. Plus, buy 10 get 1 free for any dog walking service (pre-paid only)! If you’re a Pet Pal client and refer a new client, you and the new client will each receive $15 off your next service.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?For our regular mid-day visit/dog walking clients, we ask that you cancel your services by 8 a.m. the day of so we receive your cancellation before heading out for the day. If we do not receive the cancellation by 8 a.m., the service will be charged in full. For our pet sitting clients, we ask that you send in your cancellations 48 hours before the first visit is set to occur. If we do not receive your cancellations 48 hours before departure, you will be charged for the first day of service. For anyone traveling over a major holiday, we require a 50% deposit to hold the reservation. Your deposit is 100% refundable if cancelled 10 days prior to the first visit. If we do not receive your cancellations 10 days before departure, your 50% deposit will be non-refundable.
